GUARDIAN RECTANGULAR HEARTH RUGS SPECIFICATION SHEET

GOODS OF THE WOODS began simply in the woods of Northern California in 1936 with one product, magical color cones, that were made from pine cones that fall to the ground from pine trees.  We now make many additional products but the common theme remains the use of natural items to bring pleasure to those who use wood burning fireplaces, firepits and campfires.  Some things have changed over the years, including relocation to Tennessee in 1991 but the thing that has remained constant is the pure simple enjoyment of making products that people buy because they make their homes more enjoyable.  Let me discuss in some detail each of the products we offer.

All Goods of the Woods hearth rugs are 100% MADE IN THE USA.

Every hearth rug meets the Flammability Std FF 1-70 for small area rugs.  This means the rugs are fire resistant and are designed to protect your flooring whether wood or carpet from small sparks and embers that can pop out of wood fires.  Although we don’t say fire proof you can know they will do the job of protecting your home.
